Democrats do not need Musk. He is all those horrible things he is accused of. He killed children by denying food and medicine. To hell with Musk. We don’t want him.

Musk will not find a home in the Democratic Party, SE. His blood money, his racist roots, his technobabble, and his murderous, complete lack of empathy align ONLY and perfectly with all the other Republican fascists.

My mind is blown that any Democratic Congress-person would try to woo Musk!

Have they not met Elon?

I hope not.

No because Democrats are not as craven as Republicans have been since Reagan.

Just when I think Democrats will surely not sink as low as Republicans where money becomes a guiding principle of a party, I am once again left beyond disappointment as SE has reported the possibility of the party getting in bed with Elon. Despite what Bill Maher believes as it being a smart move that opinion only exemplifies an ignorance when it comes to politics. Then again, a Democratic Party that spends $20 million dollars to learn how to talk to white male folks does also show the depths of ignorance the Party has reached.

The midterms should be easy for Democrats to flip the House and possibly the Senate but I have a gnawing suspicion they will find a way to screw it up only as they can.

I got a good laugh out of Ro Kannah's remarks.

Politicians are all money whores and will do anything for a buck.

If it involves Ro Khanna, probably. He's been very outspoken about bringing Elon ‘back into the tent’. Hard pass.

Governor Laura, Kelly is an honest lady also. She believes in working together. Both sides. To me it is very refreshing, to know this . She signed into law a zoning legislation to help those who are middle income or disabled. It doesn’t matter if they get social security, or veterans disability pensions. I was at the clerks office with all my paper work and it was done . Homestead and zoning. Bless that lady’s heart ❤️ for assisting me.

The infighting between Musk and Trump could be several things. I don’t know. Young lady , I was honored you were giving voice to everyone in America. I heard Senator Slotkin, I like what She said, on MSNBC. It was so very important. She spoke with honesty about what is going on in her state of Michigan.

I've been a Democrat all my life, but if the powers that be decide to make nice with Elon, I'm done. Dems would be well and truly f*cked. Elon is just as big an asswipe as DJT, and tells the truth about as often also.

Would they like to fall off the cliff with their own base even more?

Elevate Elon, and that’s what would happen— enough nonsense, Khanna only speaks for himself please.

I agree Ms. Cupp. It would be one thing to have a frank conversation. If he instead said yes, Elon Musk is a human piece of shit, but unfortunately, he can do a lot of good. But those were not the words or the substance of what Khanna said.

And let’s be frank — Elon Musk hasn’t had the decency to apologize. Should we forgive those who can’t admit they were wrong and at least say sorry? I was raised Catholic. I do believe in forgiveness. But the other side must at least acknowledge wrongdoing and take responsibility. Giving gifts, so to speak, isn’t sufficient, at least not to me. Use him if we must, but stop pretending Elon Musk isn’t human scum. And worst of all, he uses his autism as an excuse. As an autistic person, I loathe Elon. In my opinion, he has indirectly but profoundly harmed the image of autistic people.
